IT Operations Manager (M/F/D)


I am an IT Operations Manager.
What is your superpower?

As an IT OPERATIONS MANAGER for our value streams or platforms, I am a key player in delivering real impact in digitizing the travel experience of numerous clients of the Lufthansa Group. I have the responsibility to ensure the availability, performance and quality of our products by defining high-maturity ITSM processes.

What I’ll do.

 

  • Designing, aligning and promoting ITSM processes within the Digital Hangar ecosystem
  • Building an operational framework with all internal and external stakeholders for operating our new products from the ground up under community of practices guardrails and with respect to relevant LH’s governance standards
  • Be part of the community of practice Application Operation
  • Collaborating closely with stakeholders from value streams, product teams, platform teams and IT operation teams (internal as external)
  • Oversee the day-to-day operation of digital products and/or digital services, ensuring compliance with established Service Level Objectives (SLOs)
  • I facilitate post-mortems for (major) incidents and outages, track and follow up on preventive measures to avoid similar issues in the future
  • Ensure the documentation (e.g. handling instructions) for the AMS providers
  • Continuously improves and adapts the IT-Operation model based on feedback loops

What I’ll need.

  • Several years of experience in IT-Operation in a complex organization, ideally in the aviation industry
  • Several years of experience with ITSM process design, implementation, and improvement
  • ITIL, DevOps and ideally SRE
  • Experience in change management and stakeholder management
  • Strong organization, moderation and collaboration skills
  • Experience with agile environments, ideally with SAFe
  • Knowledge in Atlassian Jira and Confluence
